Managed Backup Services
Save time and money and rest assured in the fact that all of the critical
data on your server is being consistently preserved and protected with Hostway's
managed backup service. Upon subscribing, all your data files will be stored
in a separate centralized backup server offering complete security. Our
automated process means your backups are scheduled and consistent so your
lost data risk is minimal. By outsourcing your data backup to the expert
administrators at Hostway, you and your staff can focus on core business
activity rather than worry about the loss of your data.

- $75 per month and $75 setup
- $99 setup fee for each restore request

- Hostway recommends that directories have a maximum of a few
hundred files per directory for maximum efficiency.
- The day and approximate time of the daily incremental and weekly
full backup is initially preset by Hostway (typically late-evening
CST) but can be changed upon the customer's request.
- To setup services, the backup system requires direct access
to the customer's server to copy stored information.
- The customer must agree to allow Hostway this access as long
as he/she wants to continue backup service. Customer also acknowledges
that it is the customer's responsibility to maintain this access
for backup services. Changing this information without notifying
Hostway will result in cessation of backup services and at no
fault to Hostway.
- Number of days that files are archived varies depending on disk
size and usage. Customers can expect archived files to go approximately
2 weeks back.
