Smart Tip: Respect Copyrighted Material
A big part of having a successful Web site means that you present a professional and inviting design, oftentimes through photographs or illustrations. While you want your site to look the best it can, be sure that you never infringe on existing copyrighted materials. If you do, you could risk service interruptions to your hosting account.
If you misuse copyrighted material according to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a complaint is sent directly to Hostway's legal team. We'll then notify you and give you 1-2 days to remove the questionable materials in accordance with the DMCA laws. If you do not or cannot remove the copyright protected materials in that time, you risk suspension and/or closure of your account.
