Smart Tip: Make Your Web Host Switch Seamless
If you have Web sites with companies besides Hostway, you
may be thinking about making a switch so that all of your Web sites
are hosted with Hostway. That’s a smart move and it can be a
painless process if you keep the following tips in mind.
- Redundancy can help reduce downtime and ensure a smooth transition.
- Give your new Web host an updated copy of your site.
- Change your Domain Name Servers with your Registrar before
canceling your existing hosting plan.
- Make sure your site traffic is being routed through your new
host before canceling your existing plan.
