Hostway Sponsors First Tuesday

Chicago—April 10, 2003—Hostway Corporation, a global leader in Web hosting services and online business tools, sponsored a First Tuesday event on April 8th at Harry’s Velvet Lounge. Hostway’s sponsorship was the second in a series aimed at reinforcing its commitment to technology and the Chicago community. First Tuesday is a global organization, based in London, designed to bring together a technology community’s leaders to discuss relevant topics and develop original ideas.

Hostway’s First Tuesday Chicago event focused on the impact of the Internet towards small businesses, past, present, and future, and featured Mohan Sawhney, Professor at the Kellogg School of Management and renowned thought leader on e-business strategy and technology. The event drew a crowd of about 250 Chicago area Internet professionals, technology gurus, and civic leaders. The venue offered a casual but hip atmosphere for networking and spurred many informative and thought-provoking discussions across a wide span of technology innovation, from service providers to software developers.
