Hostway Corporation Appoints Corporate Controller

Bruce Fortelka Brings Over 25 Years of Financial Management Experience to Hostway

CHICAGO, Illinois, August 11, 2006—Hostway Corporation has appointed Bruce Fortelka as the company's corporate controller. Fortelka comes to Hostway from Kanbay International Inc., a $230 million, publicly held information technology consulting firm, where he also served as corporate controller.

Fortelka will work at Hostway's Chicago headquarters and report to Don Eldert, chief financial officer. As Hostway's corporate controller, Fortelka will be responsible for accounting, financial controls, accounting policy and reporting for all of Hostway's global operations. Fortelka also will ensure that Hostway complies with all GAAP and SEC guidelines.

“We are very fortunate to have someone with Bruce's breadth of experience and deep technical accounting knowledge join our team,” said Eldert. “He will play an important role as the company continues on a steep growth trajectory.”

Working closely with Eldert and others on the senior management team, Fortelka will play a key role in implementing the vision and objectives of the finance organization in support of Hostway's long-term growth initiatives.

As corporate controller for Kanbay International Inc., Fortelka was involved in a series of business initiatives that successfully positioned the company for growth that included an initial public offering in 2004.

Before joining Kanbay, Fortelka held several senior financial officer roles including controller of RedPrairie Corporation, a privately held developer of software solutions for warehouse, labor and transportation management and vice president of administration for Rollex Corporation, a privately held manufacturing company.

In addition, Fortelka spent five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Chicago and San Francisco offices. He also served in the US Army and Army Reserves for nearly 20 years, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Fortelka earned his B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Notre Dame, his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and is a Certified Public Accountant.

He has two grown children and lives in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
