System Administrator
The System Administrator should have approximately 2 years experience in network, data center, and/or help desk operations. The candidate should have an understanding of Internet networking technology.
Job Functions:
- Data Center duties include the following functions:
- Answer phone calls from internal personnel and data center customers and verify authenticity as appropriate
- Monitor all ticketing queues for customer requests - process, document, and close tickets or escalate to proper queue
- Document all customer requests or failure reports into the appropriate ticketing system.
- Monitor customer and internal systems and respond to alarms and warning alerts generated
- Determine the severity of an incident and depending on the circumstances, take immediate action to restore service or follow appropriate escalation procedures
